  • Boozeat.com
    Pay less. Drink better.

Boozeat.com was established in Malaysia since 2015. Due to the increasing volume of orders, its e-commerce website needed to be enhanced to cope with the demand. However, upgrading the existing platform would time-consuming. We saw this as an opportunity to not only build a new platform from ground up, but also improve the shopping experience with new ideas, especially in a market where customers demand quick turnaround for purchases and delivery.

    The challenges

It’s not feasible to expand the existing website platform as the product handling and processing of orders took a long time. We also interviewed selected target audiences to understand users’ pain points with the site.

    The process

To build an entirely new, customisable platform with a more seamless shopping experience. These are the UX stages or steps involved.

    • Early brainstorming and discussion on features and direction
    • User research and website insights analysis
    • Mockup concepts and tone of voice for UX writing
    • High-fidelity prototyping (Invision)
    • Building the filter navigation and product categories (card sorting)
    • UIUX of the admin dashboard
    • Handover of design to development
    • Website banner templates and guidelines for Boozeat's in-house team
  • The revamp

To make the website more appealing, we came up with a trendy design, streamlined navigation, simplified user journey to checkout page, and injected cheeky yet compelling copy, all of which makes the process of ordering on the website more seamless.

  • The results
