The Castrol Loyalty Programme App rewards customers for their continued loyalty to their preferred Castrol service workshop. With features like service reminders and a workshop locator, the app helps users stay on top of their vehicle maintenance. As an added incentive, users can claim a free bottle of Castrol engine oil after their third or fourth oil change at the same Castrol service workshop, encouraging repeat visits and long-term brand engagement.

Branding & wireframes
To establish a strong visual identity, I designed concept visuals that reflected Castrol’s commitment to engine care and performance. The modern, intuitive interface prioritised clarity and ease of use. Once the branding direction was approved, I developed wireframes to outline the app’s core functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience.

User journey flow & walkthrough
With the visual concept and key features finalised, I designed the remaining screens while refining the user journey flow. Close collaboration with the development team and copywriters allowed for continuous improvements in UX writing and interaction design, ensuring every detail was carefully considered.

UAT & Launch
During User Acceptance Testing (UAT), we identified usability issues—for example, users perceived the app as unresponsive due to slow image loading when navigating between pages. To address this, we implemented micro animations and loading screens, enhancing the app’s perceived responsiveness and overall user experience.
